An elderly woman is sat on a rocking chair telling her grandchildren about all the adventures she had in her life. All the people she met, places she walked and food she tasted. The ups and the downs and the times when it felt like she was doing nothing but going round in circles. Stories of adventures that in their own little way changed the world, stories to inspire her grandchildren to go out and make the world a better place.
Zoom out a little and there's a second chair, this time occupied by an elderly gentleman. He smiles at the stories, laughs at the memories and remembers the journey; because her journey wasn't taken alone! He was there with her getting lost in foreign cities and meeting awe inspiring people.
When asked what you want to be doing at 95 years old, that was your answer...to live a life that is big, a life where you can honestly look back and say I regret nothing and I wasted none of it.
95 may seem a long way off but lifelong memories take a life time to build so how's the building going?
And how are your wings? I hope you are looking after them and are still flying...God designed you to fly not to crawl!
Keep going strong,
One day the love of your life will become a reality and when it does you want some awesome stories to tell him so go out and live it.
This is your story; never give up
