As I begin this journey, I realize it is only another day in life's journey.

And life is simple

Follow Christ, the Living Word within

The only thing to do is surrender our resistance

The Camino, like every experience, is an opportunity to do so

Lord Jesus,
Please bless this Camino
According to Your Most Holy Will
One day at a time
One moment at a time
Please grant me perseverance when the way is hard
Guidance when I can't see the way ahead
And hope for the light ahead, which is everlasting!

May each step be a step towards surrender
And therefore, towards
Peace
Towards Joy

And above all and most importantly, towards Love

Which is You

In Your Most Holy Name

I offer You my fears about this Camino and about life in general
Let us, Frank and I, walk as You would have us, whether together the whole way or something else
Let us meet who we ought
Avoid anyone or situation we ought
Rest as we need, continue as needed, in Your strength which is infinite
Rather than ours, which is dust and ashes

May this Camino be a journey of surrender in life's larger journey of surrender
