A letter from the past

Dear Me,
I know I don't say this enough, but I love you truly and dearly. The things that I say to you outweigh the good, and I want to push back those thoughts to now tell you what I admire about you. You are kind, passionate, and smart. You push yourself to do the best you can, which leads to great things in life. You have made special relationships with people you might have not suspected and you should cherish those connections. You lead in your own way and set good examples. You are also amazing with kids; you love to play with them and they admire you back. You are an awesome twin sister who is very much appreciated for everything you do. Your relationship with her can never be broken.

You are very passionate and studious. You have many goals in life, which you won't reach until you're a bit older, but I know you'll keep pushing. You study very hard and are doing great your first year of college. Establishing relationships with your teachers is something not many students do, but you really aim to have a good social life, even if it is a little uncomfortable at times.

This pandemic has really allowed you to grow out of your shell and realize how important family and friends are. You are loved by everyone and will make a wonderful girlfriend, wife, and mother one day. You are also very understanding of situations and people. You know how they feel and you know when to pull back when needed. Your taste in music is unique and not the same like everyone else's, which is good. Just keep on listening to Andy Grammer and you'll be perfectly fine haha...

I want you to keep being who you are. Don't ever doubt who you are. I love you.

Sincerely,
Me.
