A letter from the past

Dear Me,
You inspire me. You are so brave, adventurous, and outgoing. Your positivity radiates to everyone around you when you let your light shine.
Think about where you were just one year ago. You had Covid and were quarantined in Seattle. You had not yet had your skiing accident. Your plans really didn’t include much except maybe trying to get a job in the training department at Horizon. Your dreams of traveling internationally were far fetched, and you worried so much about your future.
Look at where you are now. Living in a crash pad in Boston, just returning from a Caribbean cruise where you visited two new international destinations (Belize and Honduras), and working for JetBlue with the opportunity for so much more international travel experiences. Others see you. They watch you succeed in all you set out to do. They know you’re afraid of changes, but see you bravely forge ahead and hope for the best.
You will be successful in all you do. Give school your full attention. You can do it. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and to let those around you offer support. You don’t have to do this journey alone.
You are beautiful. You are kind. You are an example to many. Keep encouraging your children to follow their dreams and support them in their efforts too…they are trying to be brave like you. Love yourself first and foremost. Others love you too, but our relationship is the most important and I will never break your heart or let you down. You are worthy of so much.
Love,
Me
