A letter from the past
Dear Me,
I love you. You are enough. You are more than enough. I know you don't see yourself this way but you are a risk taker. Some of those risks didn't have the result you wanted but you have persevered through so many trials. Most importantly, you didn't let those difficult times define you or change the way you love and care about others. You learned about yourself, what you are capable of and how to keep moving forward. You weren't dumb for giving people multiple chances. You were brave for forgiving them and choosing to see the good in them to see their potential. Don't be too hard on yourself when you don't live up to what you think other people expect of you. You are your own worst critic but you've become a beautiful mural of experiences. You are a wonderful aunt and the kids know how much they mean to you. Your family adores you and wants you to be happy, wherever that may take you. Your smile and laughter are infectious. Keep on being the kind, gentle, awkward person you are and that will be enough for the world. It needs a genuine "you".
