Time Travelled — almost 8 years

A letter from September 20th, 2013

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I haven't yet decided what year I'm going to send this to. I don't know just how important that is anyway. Hopefully you're doing better with college (or have finished college in a timely fashion with good grades, depending on when I decide to send this to) and life in general. I wonder if you've followed your dream of becoming some sort of spoken word artist/rapper. If you have, I hope you haven't let whatever amount of fame you've come into go to your head, and that you still write from your heart for the sake of writing and you aren't just writing for more fame or for more fans. What about God? How are you doing with your walk bro? Are you being diligent? Are you humble? Are you honest? Do people notice something different about you compared to other people when you discuss with them?....When you live life with them? I pray that this finds you well. Unless the computers have gained sentience and the Terminator series has become comparable to a winter wonderland. Either way, I pray this finds you fighting. Whether it be fighting the mechanized fiends, and/or fighting to make God known. I think I've decided on 8 years from now. You should have just turned 30. There are a lot of trials you've doubtless faced at this point. Have you come out on the other side stronger? Or have you come out on the other side knowing that you had to rely on Someone stronger. I pray it's the latter. Prayerfully His, Ben P.S. Remember Tiger, Pepper, Missy, Rascal, Stella, Flomar, Maggie, Max, and most of all Allister. Allister will likely be gone by now. Unless she lives to be 15, which isn't unheard of for a cat. But keep all the good memories, they'll get you through the dark. P.P.S. Doctor Who is almost definitely finished. Unless Steven Moffat is a more cruel man than we currently believe and has drug out the Doctor's affair longer than it should be. Pass his stories on though. For though they contain numerous accounts of heartbreak, pain, and suffering....they also contain far more accounts of joy, hope, and peace.
