Dear FutureMe, I hope you achieved at least these things by then: -graduated college -get a working visa in Japan -living in my own apartment with a reasonable salary to enjoy life and to save money for traveling -investing more time to friends/dating more -speaking and writing fluent Japanese If you failed even one of the above, you need to get your shit together. If you're too lazy or scared to achieve your goals, you deserve to be unhappy. If you still have suicidal thoughts, just know that you might as well try to change, no matter how risky it may be. You got nothing to lose. I hope you stay in touch with your family and friends in NY. Don't be a stranger.
