Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, let me tell you Dear FutureMe, A few days ago, it was our 8th grade dance. It was so fun, I danced all night long with all of my friends. Probably one of the best days of my 8th grade year, especially since we are considered the worst grade in my school. The guys, who I normally don’t talk to, all looked so cleaned up and fresh. Usually we see them in like sweatpants and hoodies everyday, but it was such a switch up. They had new haircuts and actually smelled clean and not like axe body spray mixed with BO. For some reason, they were also obsessed with wearing sun glasses. To add on, the Dj was amazing, and it was not like the bad stories we heard from last year. Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, new hits, old hits, you name it, he played it. I got so distracted by the music I barely took any photos until the end. I was kind of hoping that either Ls or someone else would ask me out. In my opinion, he is so sweet. Too bad, it’s over now. Also I am graduating middle school this week. I really don’t know how to feel about it. I mean I guess it feels like a type of baking chocolate, bittersweet. The reason behind this term bittersweet, is because it feels so good to get a break from school, and I get to move on to high school. But also things change in high school, who knows if I will still have the same friend group. Plus, the work load will be so much heavier, especially because I am mostly in advanced and honors classes. If I’m complaining about work now, in middle school, it’s not gonna get easier from here. So I guess bittersweet is the right term. My school has so many new amazing things for us to do in the last week, like an ice cream truck, graduation, and yearbook signings, and the clap out. I don’t want to miss this week at all, even though they are all half days. It’s too important. I also want to get as many signatures as I can on my yearbook, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Even if they are my opps. I’m bringing colorful markers, pens, and everything. Especially because my parents only buy them for me when I graduate. It has to be the most memorable yearbook, like ever.
