Peaceful right?

Letter to my Future Self: Dear Sophia Can you believe the 2024-25 school year is already over? When I came here during the 1st quarter, I thought for sure that I wasn't going to pass. Now, it’s my last day in Period 5 with Ms. Dean. What can I say? I can say quite a bit. First off, I will complete all my credits, graduate on time, and walk the stage with my friends. I hope I can make my family proud and continue doing what I'm doing, working and getting good grades, and attendance. This semester has been a hassle, ups and downs, but I was always here with a smile on my face, late or not. A habit I’m trying to break is being stuck in my little bubble, and starting to talk to more people and make more friends. My dream for my life is graduating and becoming a barber, then later opening up my shop. If you’re struggling right now, remember that you're doing this for Mom and Grandma, make them happy, and show Junior and Daniel everything is possible and they can do it too. I want to thank Mom and Ms.Dean for showing me what success means and making sure I stayed successful. My favorite song right now is Por Tu Ojos by Fuerza Regida. The best thing that happened to me this year was getting lucky with a car, and I started working. I wish people understood that I was doing so badly in school, and comparing myself to now is crazy. I hope when I see this again, I have all A’s and B’s. See you then. - For now, Sophia Martinez
