A letter from Nov 12, 2024

Time Travelling — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, 2 days ago, I received a letter from my past self. This will be the third letter I send and it's making me sad knowing I'm sending this letter to my senior year self. A lot has changed since that letter. I've been through a few more relationships with the same guy and I've quite a few bad decisions, however I think they were all important and taught me a lesson. I trust people very easily especially if they are coming back into my life for another time. I've had some rough luck with dating and by August I had vowed to give up almost completely, but it I am actually very happy with who I am with currently. My mom said I would be crazy to let this boy go, and I agree with her. (I love Cody). Moving on, I wish I could send a letter to my past self and warn her, but something about sending a letter to the future is very fun, and also gives me the chance to look back at my life from the previous year. Let's see, I am currently 16 years old, I still do not have a license or permit, my current favorite song is Call Your Mom By Noah Kahan, I am an eagle scout as of May 23rd 2024, Some of my friends are Courtnee, Brynn, Ashe, Ellie, Athena, Bella, Jayla, Jacki, etc. My current favorite class is digital media and my digital media capstone. That class is one of the main reasons I even tolerate coming to school. I hope next year I can focus on it fully by taking easier classes. Oh! How is taking easier classes, I hope my future self is not as stressed as I am. Something I want to remember a year from now is how much God has helped in the past 2 years throughout high school and its ups and downs. I am hoping my relationship with God has grown stronger and my faith is sturdy. I don't really know what else to talk about, but remember to love yourself <3.
