Dear FutureMe,
This is a letter for you to read. I hope you're doing well and staying healthy, I hope you're doing well in school and are happy. I wonder how you're doing and how you are. The first year of high school didn’t even feel like high school yea there were new people and a new school but nothing much really changed. I think what got harder was having good mental health since your always trying to be the best and do everything everyone else is doing. It felt like it went by so fast. The work defiantly got more challenging, and having good mental health has become more of a challenge. This year had its good and its bad. Like joining softball and meeting some new people that I am really close with now and hope I am still close with then. There were some moments when I felt like I was going to give up because of all the stress we go threw every day. Glad we pushed threw. This year really taught me how to be more careful with who I surround myself with and that little things can affect me in the long run. I learned to become more dependent on others and not keep everything to myself, I learned how to manage my time with sports and academics, I learned how to be a good person and treat people with respect, and I learned that the friends you have now can stay with you forever or can leave you forever. This year was definitely something and Im excited to see what the future holds. Career and financial happiness means a lot to me now because now I know how to invest and make more so I can settle when Im older and not have to stress about being homeless or not having any money. I hope that was doing well in school and finally making Mom proud. I hope we became better at softball and went to CIF. Grace taught me that even in the toughest moments we can still push threw and get threw anything we put our minds to. Being a freshman was hard but I'm glad that it happened. Don’t cry because it ended, be happy that it happened. Hope you know how proud I am of you and all the things you've done. I’ve learned that having good time management can really change things for the better and joining softball was the best decision I’ve made. I made good friends and supported people who will be there for me and talk to me and make sure I'm okay. I hope you don’t quit softball. I loved playing softball this year it was so fun to be able to do something I’ve done before. So proud of how far we've come. From kindergarten to finally senior year of high school. Just know that you deserve better and remember to love yourself and don’t let anyone bring you down.
