Dear FutureMe,
You are now reading an email from… can you guess? Of course, yourself, but from Year 9. I’m 15, but you’re 18! An adult! It’s crazy how you’ve blossomed into such an amazing individual who I know is true to herself, her passions, and the people around her. Happy grad, by the way. If you don’t remember, past you was still quite uncertain of the future. Girl, you’ve graduated highschool and are on to university and I don’t even know what I should order from McDonalds, let alone what I should fixate myself on for my upcoming Personal Project. You’re fantastic. It feels weird that I’m talking to you but I’m not. I want to ask you a million questions; did you graduate from GJS? Did you make it to UWCSEA? Are you still a MUN geek? Or did you completely change your life goal? Did anything difficult and sad happen lately? Are we still the same? Is our life still the same? Anything is possible for me and you, really, because I know we’re beyond capable of adapting to change, enduring it, and creating it. I’m sure you remember how eager I am to get the answers to all of these questions. But I can’t do that until I grow into you! Remember to love you, just like I do already. Keep blooming, and don’t throw away any of your shots. There’s no mountain too high and no river too wide. No one can stop you, because no one does it like you do! Always know who you are.
Sincerely,
Me
