Dear FutureMe,
In lieu of journaling today, I chose to write you a letter. Right now you weight about 188lbs and you hate yourself. This past weekend you went out with a friend and you felt so insecure. You spent the night hating how you looked. You work a job that is... ok and you want to be happier. You want to go to London and wish to travel. You just received your first travel credit card and you have big plans to pay rent on it and be debt free and travel the world BUT here is what I hope for you.
I hope that when you receive this letter you are in a better place, emotionally. I hope that you have come to love yourself. You will be 30 and I hope you still act like a child with an adult sensibility. I want you to keep nourishing yourself; your hair, your skin, your body. You continue to workout and are in the shape that you want to be in. I hope you find LOVE. Love from yourself and, perhaps if we are lucky, love from someone else. I hope you grow to accept love, and to ask for help. And know that saying 'I have no clue' is one of the smartest things you can do.
I hope you are living your wildest dreams. I hope you are thriving, in whatever capacity. I hope you say NO and nothing more and I hope you say YES and follow through. I love you dearly, I want you to know that. I have always loved you and will continue to do so not matter WHAT. I hope this letter makes you cry as it has me. My sweet, darling, future self, I cannot be more proud of you WHEREVER we land.
Love you, bestie and take care.
