Dear FutureMe,
I often think back to when I almost ended it all. Not in a melodramatic way, but in a very disappointed way. I hate thinking that I almost threw it all away because I didn't know who I was or what diagnosis fit. I'm so glad that I am here now, and I can finally attest to the fact that it does get better. It took me 20 years to get there, but it finally got better. Even in the bad moments, it's still better than my best moments before I was medicated. I don't know where I'd be without my medication, honestly.
