Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It's August 2, 2021 today. We go to NYC in 2 weeks and back to Montreal after that for our final semester at McGill. We have some life-changing decisions to make in the next couple months. Are you opening this while traveling? Are you preparing for law school? Are you at work? Because right now, I have no idea what I should do, let alone what I want to do. Are you happy? I hope so. I think you deserve to be happy. You have so much love to give and I want more than anything for you to be reading this fondly knowing that all that love is going somewhere. Being this lonely is so hard. I didn't know it could physically hurt to be alone but these past few months have been so heavy. I don't know who to tell, and I need to talk someone about this. Kind of a poetic sadness to the fact that I am writing myself a letter about being lonely, but here we are. How are your fitness goals going? I have faith that you are running 15k as easily as you run 8k now and that you're crushing it at the gym. Learning to love yourself and accept your body is the key to someone else being able to love you. Don't you forget that. I love you. And I hope you're proud of me for getting you where you are now. Please write another letter, this has been extremely therapeutic even though I can't seem to put into words the things I really want to convey to you. P.S. your favourite song is currently Untitled by Rachael Jenkins (yes, you are depressed). Put your current favourite song in the next letter so we can track these by era. Maybe you can make a playlist? lol Love always, Jessie xx
