A letter from November 14th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, **** gurl, it’s been a long time! I mean...you’re finally eighteen! How’s life going? What about you and Shanon? Still bestfrendywendys? I really hope that your happy with where you are because I can tell you one thing, you’re only on this dang rock for a short time so make the most of it! You know it’s weird thinking about five years into the future! I mean, I’m ligit lying in bed half-asleep writing this! Oh, and I still hope that you simp for One Direction! REMEMBER: your a Niallers girl before Zayn’s......I’m really sorry, I just had to. BTW, how are Laynah and Nishat? Still acting like the bad ***** they are? What about you/us? Do you have a sibling yet? I hope your not married because of you are then your moving waaaay to fast girl- anyways... what about school? Did you convince mum and dad to let you study in Canada? Speaking of mum and dad, how are they? What about nana? She good? Right now there’s a **** plague out there meaning we can’t go outside (to be honest I don’t mind because I’m an introverted freak!) I hope you figured out your religion because that **** is getting complicated right now. Did our parents get you that dog they promised for me getting into the school they wanted? What about our house? We still living there? As a matter of fact, are we still living in London? I mean, right now I would rather live anywhere but here. Plus, I would like to think that by the age of 18, I have moved out or am planning to move out. (DONT YOU DARE RUIN THAT DREAM!) What about *your* dream (not our parents dream but *your* dream) Did you pursue your art career or did you let it get crushed? Look, what I really want to say is that...I hope that you are happy with where you are. I don’t give a **** about what others think, all that matters is that you are happy and content with yourself. Even at this age I realise that mum and dad are not gonna support you with everything they do and if you screw up real bad infront of their eyes, they will ligit disown you but....you only get given one life so don’t **** waste it on things that you don’t want to do. Don’t let anyone step on you or use you for their own gain. You belong to yourself and no one else! If they are really your parents then they need to respect your decision because you are now technically a adult BUT that does not mean that you can go round doing ****! Have some **** slef-respect for yourself and sure follow your heart and all but take your brain with you. Just remember that even when the whole world is against you, I’ll be there. Standing right next to you with a chainsaw in my hands (you never know when you might need it!) I know that you are smiling like a dork while reading this...and you just smiled even more because you just realised that I know what you are doing! XD Anyways, I got to go read more Wattpad stories and then have a bath with holy water and clean my eyes out with bleach, but I just want you to know that I love you. No matter what. Please don’t go ahead with suicide even though it sounds like the best option right now because you matter, if not for someone else but for me you will always matter. I really love you and wish you all the best of luck on your journey through life. Where you will suffer the most pain, heartbreak and misery but also the most joy, happiness and love. I hope that you get through uni with good grades and graduate, plus get into medical school, make mum and dad proud and getting your dream job. I hope that you find someone who loves you and treats you like the queen you are. I hope that you get married and maybe even have children of your own (won’t that be cool? Little yous’ running around the house) I hope that you get to watch you little angels grow up and have families of their own all the while spending it with the people you live and adore. I also hope that you live to a ripe old age of 102 and that when you are on your ***** bed, you don’t regret anything and all you say is “I **** well lived you suckers!”. (I tots think you would rock old age!) Anyways, that’s my view of what I wanna do with this life. I don’t expect you to have the same ambitions as me at eighteen but I hope that I’m happy with them. Only drink water for a week 22. Fast for the whole of Ramadan 23. Keep in touch with family even when I’m older 24. Have a family 25. Drive a tuk tuk 26. Learn to be more outgoing 27. Visit Indonesia 28. Wear and Abby a for a whole day 29. Fly first class 30. Step food in all seven continents 31. Visit Egypt 32. Visit a ghost city 33. Walk across Abby Road in London 34. Visit Dundee 35. Visit Bradford (Zayn....don’t ask) 36. Visit Doncaster (Louis.....) 37. Visit Wolverhampton (Liam...) 38. Visit Mullinger (Niall my precious baby!) 39. See Mona Lisa at the Lowre 40. Visit Stone Henge 41. Visit at least 5 UNESCO world heritage sites 42. Join the Holi festival in India 43. Sleep under that stars 44. Find a ‘true’ friend to share my life with 45.
