Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey, you're 20 tomorrow! 15/11/20! I can’t believe how much I’ve experienced between thirteen to nineteen years old. I’ve been on two school trips abroad without mum or dad and learnt about my friends and good maintenance of myself and well-being. Travelled to America, Asia and Australia too with family. A privilege of course, but only realised I’d really never want to travel with dad again (too over whelming). I’ve attempted driving lessons!! Moved out at 19 for university which I never thought would be possible! I’ve also realised my true likes and dislikes! I really love indie/alternative music! Vampire weekend, Sam Fender, Rex Orange County or Declan Mckenna are artists who I’ve fallen in love with. Same with loving comedic shows like Bob’s Burgers and Archer or different shows like Atypical and The Good Place. Things with a deeper meaning and something that attaches to you that you almost begin to reference through your life. I enjoy that sense of fulfilment. Independency is also something I’ve learnt but with a few barricades. It's also the first time in my life I'll be a teenager with my sister and I just think it's so special that I can share that with her at least in my lifetime and I can't believe how secondary school is now years away and a memory and sometimes I truly wish I could just go back to being 14 to 15 even though it really wasn't that long ago. Those days are used to feel long as hell but it's mental that once it ended it ended. It impacted me, and probably other students, quite strangely because it's crazy to think that all of his feelings experienced all of those sad days and happy days it is well mean nothing because it's now locked away into a period of your life that you can never access again. A routine that’s literally embedded into you then removed because you don’t need to do it anymore. p.s there’s only so much I can say here, I am realising. I hope you are okay and happy. You deserve good people around you. How old is mooby? Do you have a child? Which leads me to do you have a husband?! Is he treating you well? Have you been on The Graham Norton or a talk show for your show that you’ve starred in and/or written? BRO, your new home? Is it nice? Did you get all the Sims packs with Tee? Pls no vampire one or other weird ones. Keep treating mummy. Did you ever get real Yeezy slides lol? BRO did u do a masters degree? How was the wedding? Show us some pics. The funny thing about this is I’ll read this probably next year. Is the world more hygienic after COVID-19? Any new shows that you absolute adore? Have you gone properly to a therapy session? It’s needed. Eating good? Baby I know you are. Hopefully, you’re taking pictures on more disposables and feel more comfortable on camera. What’s your favourite song right now? Is Boys Don’t Cry by The Cure still your neutral song? Who’s inspiring you right now? I say write a letter back to this and add more if you have to tell me. I can’t wait to see how much better it has got. (God protect me and my loved ones, Amen.) I think my seven years of being a teenager has been decent. Hard and not something to relive though. I will reminisce through my twenties but right now at nineteen, I’m just vibing out. Can’t believe I’m a second year uni student. Contextually, I’ll be very aware of what I’m saying but to an outsider of my mind, this just looks like nonsense. I think I’ve done well. You’re in a weird student accommodation doing computer science (woman in stem yes) I know but I hope the money is good. Also do you have a job relating to this by the way...lowkey hope not. High key hope not actually. Money and stability only lol. Dream big and put yourself first. You deserve people on your depth, and they exist by the way!
