A letter from November 11th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Self, Hi. It's been 5 years. I hope you're doing good. Tonight, there are plenty of things that is on your mind, anxieties and heart breaks that seem endless. But I know right now, these will be nothing. And you'll be more ecstatic knowing that you carry on. Have you fulfilled your dream of being a mom? If not, please do so. Been dreaming of that for so long... Also, please don't settle on something mediocre. You deserve so much better than that. Have you been in a relationship now? Was it worth it? Did it hurt as much as you anticipated it? Please don't be so afraid anymore, you deserve every love you could get. Don't be scared on taking risks anymore. Life is too short to live in the comfort zone... love yourself as much as you will love your future daughter. I may have no idea where you are right now but I hope you were able to live your life with meaning for the past five years. And could you please play Cardigan by Taylor Swift? It'd feel the best while reading this letter. I'm rooting for you, always. Love, G
