Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hey you! How are you doing? By this time the board exam results should be released. Are you already a civil engineer? I sure hope that your name is on the list. Because at the time of this writing, you have no idea what the fuck you want to do with your life. Last night, you had a talk with your cousin about some deep shit. About loving yourself and being contented with what you have. I sure hope that you've figured it all out. If not, it's all good. You're still young and you still have a lot of time to figure it all out. I just want you to know that you deserve to be loved for who you are, not for what you can give and for what you've accomplished. Please please don't rush into things. Think things through before making a decision to do something. Remember that everything that you do has its consequences. Everything happens for a reason. You just have to be patient. I hope you've come to the realization that you are not a disappointment to anyone, specially to your family. Always remember that your family will understand you and accept you for who you are, no matter what happens. Family is everything. Remember that! Do you still think about all the wrong things that you've done? All your shortcomings? I really hope you're not. It's a waste of time and energy. Instead of focusing on your problems, focus on the solutions. Focus on your blessings. Focus on yourself. That is the most important thing. Before you can love other people you have to be able to love yourself first. It all starts with you. Do you still have that quote as your background on your laptop? If you do, then good. Make that your life's motto. "As you think, so shall you become.". Absorb it and apply it to your life. Everything that you do comes from you. Everything that you have accomplished started with your mind. And everything that you will accomplish will start with your mind. I just really hope you're doing great. I hope you've found what your passion really is. And I hope that you've found that intrinsic motivation you've been longing for. I wish you all the best. Just remember this when you have a problem, "Storms make trees take deeper roots.".
