Dear FutureMe,
When I look at the school yearbook from 2015, it reminded me of how much I despised 9th grade and how I liked my middle school so much better. And how middle school didn't have as harsh of a perception. It seems like my middle cared about anti-bullying, but at my high school, I get the impression that the dean Mr. ***** doesn't care about bullying and feeling left out.My middle school teachers felt like sort-of friends where I could talk to them and about nonsense without feeling awkward or silently judged. Even if they weren't close to me, I felt trust. I didn't feel that way in high school. The high school has a gay-straight alliance, the middle school has an anti-bullying organization and a GSA, but the GSA at high school plays a huge role, and the anti-bullying organization in middle school plays a huge role. I never heard of an anti-bullying organization at AHS.
