Dear FutureMe,
Hey buddy, how are you doing? Do you remember the past yourself wrote this letter on April. 16,2009? And I am just that past guy. I am now 23, the most exciting and unpredictable age of a whole life. I set the time you receive this on Sep.10,2016, and when you see this you will have been in the world for 30years!! I am quite curious about what you will be like then. Are you still single? haha... No no no, don't tell me you have got married, you gotta be kidding me! By the way, do you have babies, oh, they must be very cute. How's your wife look like? She must be a beauty and perfect wife and great mother. How are you parents? If you are in US, have you taken them to US to live together with you? Are your grandparents still healthy? Have you realized the commitment to them when you are young. You have promised yourself that you will take your grandma to US one day -- not to leave the pity that she never be able to go abroad for her whole life. And you also promised to your maternalgrandma to buy a villa for her one day you grow up when you are a little boy.
If everything goes well, you should have got your PhD degree now, so what are you doing now? Have you figured out what you would like to dedicate your whole life to? Are you in US or back to China? Have you realized your dreams of travelling around the world, sailing in the ocean, doing a priod of pioneer work in Africa, and earn an opportunity to participate in the Olympic Games?
Have you finished your plan to make up your lack knowledge of history? Do you have any big achievements now? Are you happy now?
Have you learned chess, weiqi(go chess), bridge card, playing magic, playing soccer, and parachuting?
Ok, there are enough questions, and hope you can realize the all above. But the most important thing is you being a healthy and happy man.
Wish you good luck!
All the best,
Yu
