Dear Future Me, Hey you — 13-year-old me. I hope you’re smiling while reading this. I don’t know exactly where you are in life right now, but I hope you’re happier, stronger, and still surrounded by the people who love you. I hope you’re proud of how far you’ve come, even through the stuff that felt impossible. Please remember everything you’ve survived, everything little-you hoped for, and everything you promised yourself. Keep being gentle with your heart, keep laughing with your sister, and don’t forget the version of yourself who’s writing this — she believed in you a lot. Whatever you’re chasing, I hope you caught it. Whatever you’re healing from, I hope it hurts less. And whatever you dream about, I hope you’re closer than ever. Stay kind. Stay confident. Stay you.
