A letter from August 31st, 2015

Dear FutureMe, The last time we talked, you were getting ready to present your senior project. Well, you graduated, and you're now done your first week of college at Shippensburg University. It's 10 pm and you have Lit with Dr. Mr. Cella at 10 am tomorrow. Tuesday is September 1st. It's crazy how slow time is passing. On Friday/Saturday of this weekend, you worked on your very first 24 hour play with Act V productions. You helped write the play with Alexandra Dorra and were also stage manager. You hope to audition for the fall play, and if you don't get a part, you'll be applying for a cub STAGE CREW job. They get paid to be crew. How crazy is that? You have a meeting with the Reflector on Thursday, and hope to get involved with that quickly. It's crazy - you see a lot of your friends not adjusting well to college life - they miss home even though they're probably 20 minutes away. However, you are adjusting to college life really really well. Probably because we've been waiting for this since freshman year. We aren't surprised by what college is bringing us, we're going with the flow. We're really proud of ourselves for going with the flow. By the way, your roommate is REALLY COOL. You love her. You think she's really fucking cool. Her name is Alena and she's into owls and you're feeling super blessed to have her. And you have friends! One is named Megan, she lives on the basement floor of Seavers. And you're friends with her friends, Andrea, Emma and her boyfriend Anthony. It's 10:20 and people are wailing/crying/screaming in the hall and you're wondering why they don't shut the fuck up. If it's not them, it's the elephants wrestling in the room above you, or the hooligans playing frisbee outside your window, so I guess you're thankful it's outside the room. You lowkey miss Gary and Lasagna, even though Lasagna is in Canada now. Gary will at least be home when you are. hm what else. You really wish you could get a massage right now. You're texting Matt Leinhauser and still want to suck his dick. One day. Alright, signing off now. Have to wake up at 8:50 to shower, etc. By the time you receive this, it'll be thanksgiving break, you'll have about a week and a half before the end of the semester. Study hard.
