Dear Future Me,
I'm not sure if you even went back to school, just graduated or started working at this point, but it doesn't matter. Whatever you're doing right now, and wherever you are, I want you to know that I'm very proud of you. I know you can do this thing, because I know you'll have grown as a person.
I've been really dumb and made decisions that made an impact on your living conditions now, but I hope you'll eventually forgive me, and learn to love yourself. Because at the moment, I do not.
Please understand that, wherever you are, your home will always be where your heart is, and not where you are obligated to be. This applies to any situation. Just go with your guts. It's worked for me all my life.
If you're going through any hardships at all, any at all, just remember that at least some improvement was made from my situation. And that improvement will always be made.
Don't be afraid to try new things, either. It might become an experience you'd never dream of missing. We've never had much to lose, anyway.
Just do your best, and I'll meet you up ahead.
Be well,
Your past self
