Professor makes several points about side effects of group decision making.However, proposal states some positive influences of making decision in group.He casts doubt the positive points of reading with some examples of group decision making that lead to a disaster for company. First, lecturer believes every person in such a team try adapt his idea with other minds.If person in a group wants challenge other thinking, group will try ignore the person's belief.In addition, it is natural one person adapt his opinion with others and hide his real belief.this point is in direct contrast with this notion in reading that people concentrate their knowledge for reaching to the better conclusion.Professor challenge this point that people can think about one problem in depth with group. Second, the lecture's professor claims thinking in team is vulnerable and it causes problem for group.He gives this example that people in a gathering couldn't arrest a criminal because one individual person was more clever than all of them so it causes humiliate toward all members.This point is contrary with reading that all people bring all abilities to the group and it grantees their success.In addition proposal mentions people in group have more confidence for making decision rather than individually. Third , instructor gives last example about an automobile company that people in a team put the company in risky state and it leads to a big failure for company.This notes challenges the reading that introduces positive aspects of making decision in group.
