Dear FutureMe,
Remember when you could sit and talk on the trampoline for hours with your closest friends. Remember laying back with Meg and Katie and seeing that shooting star instantaneously? I want to know that life will always be so unplanned and spontaneous, yet controllable and fun-loving. Be that person Sabrina has encouraged you to be. Have you planned anything for your future, or are you letting God give you his plan step-by-step? It's okay to be away from everyone who "matters" in the world as we know it. Not everyone is as important as we make them out to be; compare these people to money... it's all in trust, and it's really not backed up by anything like we all believe it is. Are you confident in your skill as an artist yet? What have you done to excel your technique?
Remember lying on playground benches with the boys you adore and the darkroom experiences with them too. Those days were the best. Don't forget them. Have you come to realize why your relationships are so loving yet end so hastily? Don't become too attached to boys; don't let boys become too attached to you. It can be fun and awesome when it happens, but it's all too much when it's over with. Keep them in your heart. Have you snagged Eric? Yea, you know he smells beautiful... *waft* him during Spanish! haha. Stay tight with Kerry even though she'll be involved with the other people at school more than she will with you. Her smile is too approachable and she attracts the boys more than the usual gal would. Don't let her forget you. But, if she does, she'll regret it. She's an awesome person. Let Susan have space. She's tight right now, she needs to breathe with all the chaos in her life. Have you continued in Colorguard? How is it? Are the girls still cat-fighting their way to the top? Is soccer kicking your ass? Did you go on the Spring Break trip to FL with the girls? Meet any cute boys in the meantime?
Anyway, I'm in a great stance right now. I love my life. I can't wait to get my car and license and hold hands with that special guy. Someday, maybe by the time I read this again, I shall achieve my goals. Better kick your ass into gear, yo.
