Dear FutureMe,
I am writing this letter to you (myself) on 8-10-06. I hope it reaches you and that it reaches you well.
At this point in your life, it is my expecation and wish that you have graduated college and landed yourself a good-paying steady job. If you have dropped out or slacked off, then I will say now that you are a fool! If you have sucessfully completed your studies, then I offer my congratulations.
If you have not started saving money for retirement yet, then I suggest you start now, before it is too late. Remember that we agreed upon $500 a month. I don't want you backing down from that---not matter what.
For the smaller things: Make sure to call your family once a week. Make sure to tell your mother you love her everday. And make sure to be happy with your decisions and accepting of your mistakes. Oh and I hope you've fixed that procrastination problem by now.
I'm really not sure what else to tell you except that I love you and you have lots of other people who love you. Don't ever forget that.
P.S. I hope you still dislike marriage and kids. If you've fallen head over heels for a guy, then please re-think it! Marriage is nothing but trouble. He will steal your money and leave you with a big headache! And kids are money-sucking, whining animals. But I don't think your opinions on kids will have changed much over the years. At least I HOPE not. XD;
