From Your Wife

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Mike . . . . Hi honey. I decided to send you an email way off in the future. I wonder what we are like now - besides older. This email would be coming to you on our 10 year anniversary and I hope it is a happy day for us. Congratulations to us if we made it (I hope we do). I know that life doesn't seem to settle down for us, and you seem to be having a hard time with that. I wish I could help you figure it out. I am very happy with where we are right now aside from the fact that you don't seem happy. I worry about you - whether you will figure out what you want to do with your life . . . . As time goes by, life seems to take more effort to get through and it seems to get harder and harder for us to connect. I hope it is not a sign of things to come. I want to be with you - forever. All I know is that it just feels like home when we're together - I know you know what I am talking about. I hope we still have that 5+ years from now. I love you! -Your Wife 7/5/2006
