For everything that could possibly go wrong today

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Remember that on this date exactly one year ago you finished the last eleven pages of a 45 or so page paper on a two liter bottle of pepsi, brownies and a sausage mcmuffin with egg value meal. Then remember that at noon you finished up your powerpoint, thought to take a shower, but then decided to put a song to it instead and just smell bad. After that remember how you couldn't around to getting a folder to put the paper in and how your powerpoint just wouldn't load onto the professor's laptop and how much trouble you had getting transferring it over and how this kept you from getting a Fruity Creme Delight and some food in your belly before your performance. Remember the feeling of nauseousness that comes from hunger, sleep deprivation and stress. Now remember the feeling of it all evaporating as you put in that song you decided at the last moment just had to be added to the presentation. Remember the pulsing rhythms as they flow through your veins, as the words cascade from your mouth. And remember the look on their faces when you finished that presentation you had not prepared for at all. Remember the awe of being complimented for a "cool layout" and "great speaking points" and "awesome unique selling point." But most of all remember that you are superwoman and, while it may not be easy to be you, you can do anything and persevere even in the toughest conditions. And it's not because you had a boyfriend, an amazing roommate, a super mom, a kind beyond belief best friend and a chill teacher, all of which you are probably remembering right now as reasons why you succeded one year ago today but can't seem to do anything right now. No, it's because you are wonderful--just the way you are.
