Dear FutureMe, Whoa! Hey! One quick question before I start rambling... Have you gone back to London yet? If not, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! If yes, GADZOOKS... Wasn't expecting that. How's Simon? Have you even been kissed yet? Still strong in your faith? Seriously, London? Hello? You better not be reading this from America. If you are it better be just vacation or packing up your remaining belongings from the states. Have you become that great film editor/photographer ... ooorr Cinematographer that you always strived to be? Are you on your way to accomplish that? Ooorrr did you give up what has always made you happy and went with the content love for animals and zoology? I know my mind still doesn't know which would be the better choice, but I'm running with my heart on my sleeve for this one. Moving back to Simon. Ten years you've been aware of his existence. Has he tried to come back to you? If not I hope you're still doing as fine as when we left off.. (right now, I mean). How is YouTube going? Did it fall to it's fiery death like all the vloggers and film makers suspected? How's Chelsey? How's Marissa? Did you even do anything on Ourveryownname? hmm? I hope you're still not chubby like you were in high school. If you are I hope this gives you just THAT much more incentive to snap back into shape. I say this in the dearest loving way possible... sort of. We've always been at odds with each other haven't we? I hope we got over that. I wonder if I'm still alive. I always worried myself to make goodbye letters to people and "In Case Something Should Happen To Me" lists... I just don't see myself living as long as most. Don't worry. No, I'm not afraid of death and no, you haven't tried to off yourself. Really, have you changed? Have you resorted back to your old self? Do you even have friends from college? (sadly I don't have much faith in that you do...) I hope you have truly opened up. Do me a favor... write some letters to people. People like: Mr. Mulholland, your middle school history/geography teacher who helped you believe that learning was fun and interesting. Dusty Marks, the incredibly charismatic and amazing guy that you never really "saw" until senior year. Rachel Frank, because you love her; it's impossible to stop loving her. Kelsey Marzolf (or is it Frank yet? i hope Tom got back from the middle east safe and sound), she was your longest standing K-12 friend; not always the Best Friend, but she was always there. Chelsey, Kristy and Marissa... you know why. Jeanette, Chelsey's mom, for never backing down with her own future plans for you when even you gave up hope. Write to Simon. Do this all in a Hallmark Commercial fashion. No technological way; pen/pencil and paper. People deserve to know how much you meant to them. Pay It Forward. Do something worthwhile.
