A letter from April 24th, 2014

Dear FutureMe, How's life gone? Did you pull your finger out? Did you get the internships, work experience, accumalate contacts and finally, after years of underachievement, prove that you're something half-decent. I'm sitting here in your room at Dad's house, in a major dilemma, as I do not know who I am. Sami and us have been together for a year and 4 months now, but I'm still not sure if I want to spend more of my life with her. My currently cloudy-minded state no doubt is influencing my feelings, but no doubt that kid-cudi song is also: "I don't need a bitch tryna take my mind off my fix" right now. Hopefully you sorted yourself out, did the work and stopped being afraid of a world which is as scared of you as you are of it. But then again maybe you paled into insignificance, and never accomplished any of those weighty goals you set yourself, like ensuring people would remember your name. No matter what state your life is in now, and what has happened in these preceding years just remember what Kanye has said time and again - you have this life, this one life and you only get one chance to do it right, so do it right. It's never too late if you haven't made it yet. And if you're not some kind of perfect male mother theresa helping everyone you can, then I hope that you're ploughing through drugs, women and life as hard as you can because remember, as Kinison said "If you're going to miss heaven, why do it by two inches?" This cross-time emailing thing has just given me a great Her-inspired idea for a screen play, gonna go try and convince myself to write it... Good luck brah-brah.
