A letter from the past

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, In the near future, you will be leaving the south for Seattle. It's been 10 years filled with as much negativity as any man can take, but never forget the lessons you have learned in the time that you existed in Hell, and you survived it. You survived the endless amounts of ignorance that the south should coin as the southern way of life. You have endured rejection from women that you once lusted only to realize that to taste such filth is to become filth. You survived the heat and the wretched sun. But most importantly you learned the truth of your progenitors, who in fact belong in the southern shit-holes that they embrace as their home. You gained patience where there was once none. You learned how to reciprocate love. So rejoice Dex. Learn to get your joy back. Never let another human being take it from you ever again. Realize that the road you walk is one of the lone soul, so be wary of the supposed joys of the flesh. Most important than anything, always remember that you hold the key to your destiny. No woman, no child, no beast can you trust, not even yourself, but death you can trust.
