Peaceful right?

Dear FutureBenjamin, So right now at the time of writing this, you were in your Junior year of high school at lumen and still had to do two exams (chemistry and math) until you went with the band to Florida. You were leading a cool life, secretly liking Ariel and were considering asking her out to prom for junior year. Although you were a nerd/geek because you liked computers and were president of the LAN club. You really want to keep this club going because it is really cool and want to maybe be an adult moderator of it someday after you graduate from college. Yeah--about college, remember that you were getting pretty good grades and was considering either going to Grand Valley or Michigan Tech. You really wanted to get a degree so that you could work with computers; something like an IT guy at a company or a computer programmer or engineer. That being said...what about politics? Remember that Barack Obama had been the president for two years after defeating John McCain in the presidential race of 2008. Just a few months ago, Obama and his democrats signed into law a new health-care bill that was essentially government take over! While you were writing this, the republicans who had a majority in the House of Representatives had passed a bill to repeal the health-care bill. The democratically controlled senate will veto it, but the republicans will get it through to the American people that they will stand up for what is right. Remember the words one of your best friends Hannah had said to you: Stay true. That's it Benjamin, I hope that we read this after you are at least two years into college. In the great words of Star Trek TOS's Spock: "Live Long & Prosper."
