Dear FutureMe,
Hey me. I'm sure you're pretty confused on what the hell you're reading, but yeah, it's you (weil, i guess me). It's right around graduation time and I'm sure you're celebrating with Taylor, Steve, and Crockett somewhere, like you should be. Or maybe you have calmed down over the years. Nah, we all know that wouldn't be true. I'm sure you're still living life to the fullest. As I write this, I'm thinking about my future, hoping that my future me won't be living in mom and dad's house for a long time. Maybe you got a job. I doubt that you did.
Some words of advice that I have learned over the years:
-Surround yourself with people that make you feel good. Someone who actually cares about you, and will sacrifice for you. Not someone who will turn their cheek when things go wrong.
-If you want something, I mean really want something, go for it. People or things that stand in your way are measly obstacles in a long life.
-Enjoy life. Don't live a life that others have planned for you. Create your own path.
-Call mom more than once a week. Try to make it everyday. She has done more for you than you can even imagine and deserves to know what her child is doing in life.
Other than that, I hope you enjoyed college and lived it to the fullest. And as much as this message may seem cliché, I wrote it. Nothing means more than a message from your own self.
