Dear FutureMe,
This is my first year in boarding school, the campus is beautiful to say the least and it's filled with students from all over the world with such different things to bring to the table. Teachers who encourage you and stand behind you when you need help. Well this is only my third week at school but that's the impression I'm perceiving. While there stairs make it difficult to get anywhere on time or without breaking a sweat the view is totally worth it. Long weekend starts today after classes end and hopefully we'll have a good time. Sushi on Friday, Milan on Saturday and a marathon of Friends will be playing on the PCC on Sunday, while Monday will be The Fun Day. As the days go by Graduation is drawing to a close, but let's not forget academic travel, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, ski week, spring break and prom.
I want to get as many As as I can, and good teacher recommendations that prove that I'm a good student, and able to take it even though a lot of times I feel like giving up. I want to take advantage of the place where I'm at right now, get the basics for a new language, and finally be able to break out of the already cracked shell. Being healthier is always something to keep in mind, but it's very hard when Swiss chocolate is so good... Save up some money to buy treats for myself at the end of the year. Graduate with honors? Maybe I can pull it off... Be Valedictorian? Not so sure about that... Be able to put together a good application to apply to college next year and pursue a degree in English. Oh, yea and Business(Just for you, dad)...
Other than being a completely different scenery and atmosphere from my different high school, this school proportionates the opportunity to grow and evolve and I hope to be able look back on this experience and say it was all worth it. The all-nighters, the stress-caused acne and the atrocious food. If I do succeed in all of this, I'd like to be able to keep in mind that if you keep pushing on something's gotta give.
